**About the Role**:
We are excited to offer an amazing opportunity for a passionate, motivated and experienced Workshop Controller to join our Mazda team in Frankston. To succeed in this role you will be someone who enjoys a challenge, working in a team environment with a focus on efficiency, safety and maintaining a high standard of work.
- Be a qualified automotive technician with demonstrated diagnostic skills, preferably with experience in a similar workshop control position.
- Have strong understanding of how this role directly impact customer service results.
- Possess excellent interpersonal leadership and communication skills.
- Have a passion for automotive with a willingness and desire to develop new skills and keep up to date with current technology.
- Have an undivided commitment to delivering quality workmanship
- Have outstanding time management and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage and work cohesively as part of a high performing and collaborative team.
- Mazda experience is a distinct advantage however we prioritise passion and a willingness to succeed above all else.

**The role will involve the following**:

- Schedule all jobs each day.
- Determine the amount of time required to perform each job and the starting time necessary to ensure work is completed as required by the customer.
- Assign each repair order to an appropriate technician taking into account current skills and knowledge.
- Organise and authorise sublet repairs.
- Authorise and approve parts on repair orders.
- Assist Service Advisors in completing all customer requests.
- Prepare, supervise and control all workshop activities.
- Control and set workshop behavioural standards.
- Ensuring a safe work environment is regularly maintained
