We have an exciting opportunity for a ICT Procurement Specialist to work with a State Government Department - 12 months contract.

The Program requires a procurement specialist to undertake critical procurements. The sourcing

specialists' prime function is ensuring the commercial and vendor services required by the Program are delivered in accordance with department and VGPB policy and guidelines. The role manages the end-to-end sourcing activities, contract negotiations, contract and commercial deliverables and obligations whilst striving to ensure department obtain value for money in the realisation of the Financial Assistance Scheme technology establishment and contribute towards the achievement of the department's Statement of direction.

**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**

**Technical Expertise**
- Demonstrated experience in senior roles in comparable corporate, ICT large scale project

environments.
- Experience in Vendor and commercial management with direct responsibility for relationship management with external parties
- Experience in the structuring, negotiation and management of complex commercial contracts including commercial analysis, reporting and making recommendations, particularly in IT large scale project environments or Transformations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop implement and maintain governance frameworks that

effectively manage third party delivery providers in in line with contractual agreements.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (strong Excel and Word skills).
- Contract, activity scope, and/or business policy drafting skills.
- Understanding of Vendor/Customer collaboration tools, eg Jira.
- Experience with using a Contract Management System / Database or other ERP platform,

preferably Zycus, SharePoint and Oracle.

**Qualifications**
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce / Business, Project Management, Commercial Law or similar is desirable.
- Appropriate vocation qualifications and certifications, e.g. Project Management, Contract
- Management, or/and Law of Commercial Contract are highly desirable.
