Developed in line with our strategic plan, this is an exciting opportunity to join the Leadership Team during a period of significant transformation.
You will report directly to a fast-paced CEO and help shape a high-performing, engaging workplace culture.
This role blends commercial acumen with a passion for a cause, influencing our ability to expand impact and reach more animals in need.
This position is critical to ensuring the long-term sustainability and continued impact of the organisation.We are seeking an energetic and purpose-driven strategic leader with a proven track record of driving sustainable revenue growth through compelling campaigns and strong engagement.ResponsibilitiesFundraising Strategy & Growth: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to exceed ambitious targets and ensure long-term revenue growth.Team Leadership & Culture: Lead, manage, and mentor a passionate fundraising team to foster a high-performance, positive, and collaborative culture aligned with our vision and values.Donor & Stakeholder Management: Oversee acquisition and management of strategic partnerships; build long-term relationships with donors and supporters; maintain a disciplined pipeline for all opportunities.Campaigns: Drive compelling fundraising campaigns with innovative initiatives to grow our portfolio and performance.Grants: Manage and oversee grant applications and proposals.Philanthropy: Research, profile, and cultivate relationships with high-value prospective donors and funding opportunities.Reporting & Operations: Implement a concise reporting suite to track results, monitor KPIs, and ensure data integrity.QualificationsA minimum of 3 years of proven success in leading fundraising and philanthropy within the not-for-profit sector, with a track record of delivering creative and effective initiatives that meet or exceed KPIs.A tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.Experience with Salesforce CRM software.A valid driver's licence and the commitment to attend all sites regularly.Desirable CriteriaExperience in the animal welfare industry.Established personal and professional networks that can be leveraged to benefit the organisation.We OfferFlexible work arrangements and access to a hybrid work policy to support work-life balance.A convenient location at our Coombabah (Gold Coast) location with free onsite parking.Employee discounts on veterinary services.How to ApplyIf you're an inspiring leader excited by this role and ready to shape the future of animal welfare, we want to hear from you.
