**About the role**

As a **Performance and Reward Specialist,** you'll lead the effective delivery and governance of Australian Retirement Trust (ART)'s performance, recognition and reward processes and benefit offerings throughout the employee lifecycle.

This role leads the delivery of performance and recognition processes, reward and benefit offerings, provides expert advice to enable decision making, and supports performance and reward activities that promote our employee experience and culture.

Day to day, you'll:

- Lead the planning and delivery of performance and reward activities and projects including the annual performance and reward cycles and tools, incentive process, recognition and benefits offerings and pay equity analysis.
- Provide quality and timely services and expert advice on a range of performance and reward topics in alignment with ART's remuneration, governance and people policies.
- Assist with and contribute to the design, development and implementation of performance and reward related initiatives, projects and strategies including contribution to the design, development and review of ART's performance and reward frameworks and strategies.
- Assess performance and reward matters and associated risks to provide guidance to stakeholders and possible mitigation and escalations where appropriate.
- Drive integration, change, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver value within and across ART.
- Ensure regular reporting and insights in relation to progress against key priorities.
- Manage costs and external spend in line with budget to achieve the right balance between effectiveness and efficiency.
- Lead risk culture through proactive identification, reporting and management of current / emerging risks in accordance with ART's risk frameworks.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and healthy work environment, complying with all people, health, and wellbeing policies.

**About you**

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical proficiency in Excel and survey analysis tools and methods.
- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation software (Oracle is desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential data professionally and with discretion.
- Strong analytical ability with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated proficiency in collating, organising, and disseminating information.
- Proven ability to manage high volume of work demands whilst building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within and across multi-disciplinary teams, with other P&C professionals and a broad range of stakeholders.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within Human Resources and Performance and Reward.
