The goal of Project Land 2072 Phase 3 is to deliver the Tactical Communications Network (TCN)—a secure communications solution for the provision of voice and data services to tactical force elements, in order to enhance tactical command and control to support Land Forces. The project will introduce into service a digital communications backbone for Land Forces and enabling elements aligned with Land 75 Phase 4 as the second tranche of Land 200. These programs will enhance the digital communications backbone delivered under previous phases and expand the basis of provisioning to additional land forces and ADF elements.
**What the role will involve**
The role of Lead, Program Scheduler will perform the planning and maintenance of the program execution cornerstones of Budget, Schedule and Risk in conjunction with other members of the Project Controls Team and Program IPT Lead whilst maintaining the progress measurement system for the Program including analysis and reports.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Optimise use of PC tools including Open Plan Professional and COBRA;
- Provide support to the PC Manager in the establishment of program measurement tools and reporting functions;
- Provide support and assistance to the Program IPT Leads in schedule management, status and variance reporting;
- Optimise use of Open Plan Professional in development and maintenance of the Program Contract Master Schedule (CMS);
- Provide timely and accurate advice and reports to the Program Controls Manager and Program IPT Leads on schedule performance and analysis;
- Provide assistance to the Program Controls Manager in the planning and preparation of the CoA IBR;
- Responsible for collation of the monthly CoA CMS deliverables;
- Maintain the Performance Measurement Baseline and adhere to Change Control requirements;
- Responsible for the monthly output of formal Earned Value Management reporting and analysis in collaboration with the Program Accountant;
- Provide support and specific tools to the Program IPT's for the purpose of project planning, reporting and progress measurement;
- Provide support to the maintenance of the Program Risk Register.

The role of Lead, Program Scheduler requires the following experience and skills:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
- Open Plan Professional training accreditation.
- 4 years+ scheduling experience in large projects.
- 2 years+ experience in managing a program in Open Plan Professional.
- 2 years+ experience in the management of an Earned Value Management System.
- Negative Vet 1 Australian Government Security Clearance
- Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management or a similar discipline.
- ASDEFCON contract experience.
- 2 years+ experience in the Defence Sector.
