We are partnering with a leading government Department undertaking a large-scale transformation program. They are seekingan experienced Program Scheduler to join their team on a long term contract. This role is critical in driving best-practice planning and scheduling across a highly complex, multi-vendor environment.

The Role

Working closely with the Master Scheduler, you will play a hands-on role in ensuring the program's schedule management framework is maintained to the highest standard. You'll collaborate with internal teams and technology vendors to uplift scheduling practices, manage dependencies, and provide accurate milestone forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Master Scheduler with the development and maintenance of the program master plan and associated sub-plans.
  • Provide advice and guidance to project managers and vendors on schedule management and performance.
  • Lead schedule reviews, identifying risks, dependencies, and critical paths.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting, dashboards, and insights for program leadership.
  • Promote robust planning practices and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the program.
  • Provide evidence-based recommendations on vendor change requests and program priorities.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in scheduling/planning within complex program environments, ideally with technology vendors or systems integrators.
  • Strong understanding of project methodologies and scheduling dependencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex scheduling issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
  • Highly developed communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Desirable
  • Experience working on large-scale technical programs in Federal, State, or Local Government.
  • Exposure to Earned Value reporting.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Project.
