An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Victorian Centre for Data Insights branch as Product Owner at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
VCDI has a whole-of-government role in leading the transformation of the VPS through data driven insights.
You will be responsible for working closely with Victoria's Emergency Management sector to understand their requirements, identify potential gaps between systems and processes, and identify, model and propose options and solutions.
As the Product Owner you will operate within the Victorian Centre for Data Insights (a branch within Digital Victoria) and will be a key member of the Strategic Partnership, Analytics and Innovation team.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, working with stakeholders, and distilling complex concepts into beautiful, simple presentations.
About You
- Experience in product ownership in a digital environment
- Experience working within an Agile delivery model (including SCRUM) and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Experience delivering successful products in a large, complex government or similar environment.
- Can organise and prioritise the development of a product to match the way users consume it, split up across different experiences
