Based in Chullora, SydneyFull time permanent positionWeekend work - Wednesday to Sunday working patternWe are PFD Food Services, an Australian owned national food distribution company.
Established in 1943, PFD now has almost 70 branches in metropolitan and regional areas around Australia.
We have a broad range of customers such as local restaurants, cafes, hospitals, schools, pubs and clubs
The RoleThe purpose of this role is to support the daily requirements and initiatives of our sales team, specifically in the cruise ship segment.
The core daily functions include maintaining and updating product pricing and providing sales and pricing data information and reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform various sales administrative tasks as outlined by job description, including reporting, quotations and analysing dataPerform administrative and general office tasks as requiredDaily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting, both standardised as well as customised to customer, team and management requirementsSupporting the Sales Team with requests whist they are customer facingCommunicate with various departments to ensure that a high level of customer service and record accuracy is maintainedImplementing and applying pricing methodologiesKey Competencies, Skills and QualificationsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (incl. high standards of verbal and written communication)Intermediate to advanced Excel skillsData and analytical abilityAbility to support an off-site teamStrong organisational and time management skillsReliable and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all timesAbility to work in a team environment.What PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).
