As a **QC Technician**, you will be based in Dandenong South and report to the Quality Manager. You will implement the Quality Control function of PPG Traffic Solutions production in Victoria.

You will also assist the QA Coordinator and Quality Manager in managing accreditation of PPG Traffic Solutions products and ensuring the Integrated Management Systems are implemented and followed within the site.

**Responsibilities**
- Analyse production samples and raw material samples for physical and chemical characteristics reporting promptly.
- Assist QA Coordinator and Quality Manager in handling the Victorian specific customer complaints, NCR, training, and document control.
- Assist Operations Manager VIC, QA coordinator and Quality manager with managing external accreditations to ISO9001 (QMS), ISO 14001 (EMS) ISO45001 (WHS), APAS and AS standards.
- Conduct internal audits to schedule.
- Ensure that corrective actions are actioned within timeframes.
- Maintain calibration of lab equipment and factory equipment.
- Manage retained production samples and quality records.
- Maintain general laboratory housekeeping standards.
- Raise quality matters with senior team members or promptly resolve where appropriate.

**Qualifications**
- 1 to 2 years of experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Tertiary qualification in relevant science BA level is a bonus.
- High degree of numeracy and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
