CosmaxNBT is seeking a motivated and ambitious Laboratory Technician for our Quality Control department on a 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

ABOUT THE ROLE

CosmaxNBT Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team in Dandenong South, Victoria. As a full-time role, the Laboratory Technician is responsible for supporting the Quality Control department through ensuring that all raw material, packaging components, bulk, finished product, and services meet all the regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Perform microbiological test works on starting material and finished product to control the quality by aseptic technique.
  • Perform microbiological practices including media preparation, growth promotion tests, documentation, biowaste treatment etc.
  • Operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating Laboratory instruments. (Essential)
  • Implement and maintain the 5S (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) program including housekeeping for QC facilities.
  • Create and review instrument calibration work instruction.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration as per the work instruction.
  • Following cGMP and GLP strictly. (Essential)
  • Performing all the analytical task with high attention to data integrity.
  • Ensuring compliance to OH&S policies in QC laboratory.
  • Perform any other task as per the need of the organisation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant degree.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Regulatory knowledge.
  • Therapeutic Goods Administration guidelines.
