**The Role**

This is the perfect role for someone who is looking to begin their career in the hospitality industry as an Event Manager This is suited to a very reliable, motivated and organised individual.

You will be in charge of reservations and functions for a fast-paced venue, based in Darling Point.

Your day to day roles will include:

- Handling guest enquiries including reservations, events and general enquiries
- Creating event sheets through the event management systems
- Working on the restaurant floor, assisting with waiting, food running and taking payments, when required.

**Experience & Skills**

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Previous experience with booking systems required (such as Nowbookit / Resdiary).

Previous experience with event management systems required (such as Priava / CVent).

Previous hospitality experience either in events, restaurants or cafes highly desirable.

Strong organisational and administration skills

High level of attention to detail.

Ability to multitask with a can-do attitude

**Salary**: $27.15 - $37.74 per hour
