To be the focal point of Customer and market insights across our Trading department, surfacing timely, practical insight across multiple partners up to Exec level. Collaborating closely with Commercial, Media & Strategic Insight Teams with a focus on inspiring change and action in-quarter

What you'll do:

- Trading insight & idea generation - Utilise Sky's vast data depository to build useful insight that is presented in a succinct manner answering, "what is happening, why & what should we do." Developing ideas across several partners
- Forge positive relationships across the Sky network - working with the Commercial teams that represent our expansive portfolio, including Sports, Cinema, Q, Glass and Mobile. Crafting strategic insights at Routes to Market level that captures customer and market feedback
- Be the voice of Insight during our biggest moments: Assist with key trading projects (incl Customer feedback and analysis on reasons for joining Sky) such as our many product launches (Sky Glass, Sky Stream) and moments of the year to tell the performance story

What you'll bring:

- Brilliant collaborator able to work across a matrix organisation with the product owners, Trading teams, Customer Service group and finance to ensure the Sky leadership team makes informed and timely decisions.
- Highly numerate and analytical combined with excellent communication skills to present findings in written, PowerPoint, spreadsheet and verbal format to senior partners.
- Experienced in fast paced work environments with large & complex data, delivering quick decision making that is commercial. Sectors might include but are not limited to, telecoms, Media, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG.
- Solid understanding of key financial performance indicators and how these are to be used when making decisions and recommendations.
- Self-starter able to identify trends, issues and challenges - a real get up and go attitude to tackle issues head on and who responds positively to change and/or ambiguity.
- Problem Solver with very strong analytical skills with the ability to comfortably work with incomplete information
- Credible and able to present work up to the Trading Lead and Head of Trading Performance, with excellent presentation skills (written and verbal)
- Tireless and results driven mentality, able to continually critique and optimise performance with a Positive mind-set
