**THE TEAM**

The Grinders Supply Chain Team is based in our Roastery in Fairfield, Victoria. Supply Chain compromises an array of function under its banner and the reach extends from procurement of both green beans & finished products to customer deliveries.

Supply Chain's effort is focused on supporting Grinders' journey to deliver year on year EBIT growth through relentless innovation, state of the art manufacturing capability and consistent drive to enhance customer service experience.

**THE ROLE**

The Manufacturing Coordinator role works across both the Roasting and Packing functions to support the execution of the Roasting Plan, Packing Plan and Integrated maintenance and Cleaning Plan.

For Coffee Roasting activities, the Manufacturing Coordinator operates roasting equipment at a similar technical capacity to the Roaster and Master Roaster, ensuring quality and consistency for every roast is achieved. The role is strategically positioned for career/ succession planning into the Roaster and Master Roaster roles.

Furthermore, the Manufacturing Coordinator role supports the Manufacturing Team Leader to assist Production Operators in delivering the production schedule, including leading production operators through resolving challenges during the production process.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**:
**Leadership**
- Support leading of the packing operators across key packing lines - C1&C4 (Whole Bean packing) and C3 (Ground Coffee packing)
- Participate in operational reviews, shift and tasks handovers and planning meetings to ensure that manufacturing requirements are met to assist delivery of business KPIs
- Aim at delivering weekly scheduling reliability above 95%

**Roasting Tasks**:

- Operate roasting equipment at the Grinders Fairfield site, contributing to the delivery of the Roasting production schedule within the required timelines
- Accurately record Roasting and Packing production orders within in SAP in a timely manner to ensure reconciliation of physical and logical inventory
- Actively monitor traceability records with labelling systems, including batch number system

**Packing Tasks**:

- Actively support the Packing operator (Packing Team Lead) with the delivery of the Packing production schedule within the required timelines
- Support packaging and product changeovers
- Operate the grind mill, ensuring correct grind size of ground coffee when in use

**Health and Safety**
- Follow safe work procedures and contribute to continuous improvements by identifying, controlling and reporting OHS hazards
- Maintain a supportive environment for team members to raise concerns and be involved in improving health and safety
- Assist in risk assessment of workplace hazards when requested

**Quality**
- Ensure the production process is delivering first time quality outcomes
- Highlight improvement opportunities to reduce waste
- Perform in-line quality checks

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous experience in operating high speed manufacturing machinery
- Experience in manufacturing using PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems
- High problem-solving ability and time management skills
- High attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Flexibility to workday, evening and Saturday day shifts on a rotating roster
