We are currently seeking a skilled Production Planner to assist with production and purchasing requirements for our factory in Belrose, NSW.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations. As a Production Planner, you will play a key role in ensuring that goods, equipment, material and services are procured and assembled in accordance with specified requirements, quantity, quality standards and comply with relevant OHS&E and engineering standards.

The primary focus of this position is to plan and coordinate all phases of manufacturing including parts, components and assemblies. You will be responsible for ensuring timely completion of projects and finalising all necessary processes, using Siteline (ERP system) to manage resource, stock and project requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that goods, equipment, material and services are procured and assembled in accordance with specified requirements, quantity, quality standards and comply with relevant OHS&E and engineering standards
  • Assist with work capacity planning by liaising with stakeholders and reporting on task requirements
  • Provide instructions/packages to the factory team for production orders
  • Monitor and review inventory requirements and conduct ongoing stock takes
  • Ensure efficient and timely administration of records and files

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong planning and organising skills whilst being "hands on" with day to day tasks, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, both oral and written, and proven analytical and problem solving skills.

A strong customer focus, both internal and external, is essential, along with a passion for manufacturing and a continues improvement mindset. Ideally, you may have recently graduated from university or had some general exposure to manufacturing environment in similar production planner roles. An Engineering or Production Engineering degree background is highly desired, but not mandatory.
