What We Believe

We have a simple belief — Unexpected Works. Meaning that the best idea is the one you that you could never see coming. And the only way to get there is through genuine creativity. The kind of creativity that scares and excites us at the same time because it's so different. We even get goosebumps just thinking about it. This kind of work takes guts, luckily, we've got plenty of that here.

And when it comes to people, ours are amazing. That's where all good work begins, right? Everyone who walks through our door is not only talented and nice, but they're themselves. Unique and diverse. Because you can't discover the unexpected from the same old bunch of people. Bill Bernbach said it perfectly, an idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.

What we offer
- At DDB, we care about our employees. We understand you have a life at work and a life at home. We work in a large open concept space in Sydney, offering a range of perks for our employees across flexibility & remote working, paid parental leave, slumber days & early weekend escapes, career development and growth opportunities
- Our founder, Bill Bernbach, started DDB with the mentality that each person he hired had to be both talented and nice. We continue to push this mentality today in all of our talent acquisition practices.
- We have all the benefits of a small operation, while being a part of a globally recognized brand. Operating in six continents, each DDB office operates independently, but remains owned by Omnicom, one of the leading marketing and communication companies in the world.

One of our core values at DDB Australia is the Freedom to Be - which is essentially our commitment to all our people to build a safe and inclusive culture, so you can bring your whole-self to work. Inclusion is about bringing together diverse individuals and ensuring they're supported, respected, valued, and empowered.

We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, citizenship, or any other aspect which makes them unique.
