The Opportunity We're looking for an experienced National Sales Manager to lead KStrong's expansion into the Australian market.
This is a senior, autonomous role where you'll have full accountability for building our sales function, developing strategic partnerships, and establishing KStrong as a market leader in Australia's fall protection industry.
Key Highlights: Global company backing with local autonomy - part of KS Group's 140+ country network Ground-floor opportunity to build something significant with proven global products Senior leadership role with access to nearly 3,900 certified product solutions Strategic responsibility for the Australian market Proven products with international track record and global compliance standards Support from established global distribution and manufacturing infrastructure Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Planning Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategy for the Australian market Conduct thorough market analysis and identify key opportunities within fall protection/height safety sectors Establish sales targets, KPIs and performance metrics aligned with global objectives Create go-to-market strategies for different industry verticals (construction, mining, industrial, etc.) Leverage KS Group's global expertise and product portfolio for market advantage Team Building & Management Recruit, train and manage a high-performing sales team across Australia Provide coaching and mentorship to drive team performance Identify, evaluate and establish strategic partnerships with key distributors Build and maintain strong relationships with safety equipment distributors, PPE suppliers, and industry resellers Negotiate distribution agreements and manage distributor performance Develop channel enablement programs including training and marketing support Leverage KS Group's global distribution expertise and best practices Target and engage major end-users across construction, mining, manufacturing and industrial sectors Build relationships with key decision makers including safety managers, procurement teams, and C-suite executives Represent KStrong at industry trade shows, conferences and networking events Collaborate with global marketing team to adapt campaigns for Australian market Utilize KS Group's comprehensive product range to meet diverse customer needs Business Operations & Reporting Provide regular sales forecasting and pipeline reporting Manage pricing strategies and margin optimization Identify and acquire new customers while strengthening relationships with existing clients Ensure compliance with Australian safety standards and regulations Industry Experience - CRITICAL Minimum 5-7 years in fall protection, height safety, or broader PPE industry within Australia Proven track record of success in B2B sales within safety/industrial sectors Deep understanding of Australian distribution channels for safety equipment Established relationships with key distributors, resellers, and industry stakeholders Knowledge of Australian safety standards and compliance requirements Demonstrated experience building and managing successful sales teams Strong strategic thinking with ability to develop and execute market entry plans Proven ability to establish and grow distribution networks Track record of achieving significant revenue growth targets Experience with distributor management and development Business Acumen Strong negotiation skills for distributor agreements and major contracts Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data and sales metrics Results-oriented approach with focus on accountability and performance Personal Attributes Entrepreneurial mindset suited to building new operations High degree of autonomy and self-motivation Excellent communication and presentation skills Willingness to travel across Australia as required Cultural fit with global organization while driving local market success What We Offer Competitive base salary plus commission structure Comprehensive benefits package including vehicle allowance, phone, laptop Professional development opportunities within global organization Autonomy and authority to make decisions and drive results International exposure through global team collaboration across KS Group brands Access to world-class product portfolio and global manufacturing capabilities Career progression opportunities as the business grows within the KS Group network Support from nearly 30 years of global safety expertise Ready to Lead Our Australian Expansion?
