Regional Group Australia is a leading independent Australian construction material producer across VIC, NSW & QLD.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Sales Account Manager to join our team.
Overview of role:
The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing Regional Group's sales policies, objectives, and initiatives.
The Sales Account Manager will set short and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of current sales programs.
Key responsibilities:
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas, projected sales volume and profit.
Developing and driving business by pro-actively sourcing and actioning sales leads.
Identifying, building and developing new client businesses within target markets.
Tracking sales goals and reporting results to the Regional Group management team.
Building commercial and professional networks to support Regional's strategic growth opportunities.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop and lead tailored solution efforts that best address customer requirements.
Meet and exceed predetermined KPIs and sales targets.
Ability to identify and harness new business ideas and opportunities and turn these into sales
Providing accurate and timely forecasts of future market trends
Knowledge and experience required:
3+ years previous experience in a similar role, preferably with sales management
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies
Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets and KPI's
Experience in customer relationship management
Experience in managing and directing a sales team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
High-level proficiency with MS Office programs
Ability to work autonomously
