
Superannuation Compliance Specialist

This is an exciting role for the successful candidate to take the next step in their career and help shape a growing superannuation business. As a Superannuation Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting incident management and complaint management processes, including identifying, logging incidents in relevant databases, performing root cause analysis, documenting proposed remediation plans for internal and external approval, and corresponding with relevant parties until resolution.
Maintaining effective incident management and complaint management procedures and protocols is essential to ensure efficient handling and improvement of processes. You will communicate with complainants to provide updates and resolve issues satisfactorily, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements specific to the superannuation industry. Regular reports on incidents and complaints, including analysis and recommendations for improvements, are also required.
You will work as part of a team to ensure that incidents and complaints are managed within agreed service levels. A strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry, knowledge of key legislation, and excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this role. Previous experience working in the Superannuation Industry in fund administration for 5+ years is preferred.

- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements specific to the superannuation industry.
- Submit regular reports on incidents and complaints, including analysis and recommendations for improvements.
- RG146 General Advice in Superannuation certification.
- Previous experience working in the Superannuation Industry in fund administration for 5+ years.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Services Industry and knowledge of key legislation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Well-developed PC skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
