Your ImpactWe're on the lookout for a hands-on Maintenance Planner/Controller to join our Iconic Cascade Brewery in Hobart.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of keeping our site running safely and smoothly by planning and coordinating maintenance across brewing, packaging, and utilities.
You'll lead from the floor - supporting the team, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring we stay on track with our maintenance program and budgets.No two days are the same at Cascade.
With a large and diverse estate, unexpected challenges can pop up - from unplanned breakdowns to unique site issues - so we're looking for someone who can think on their feet, lead with confidence, and plan proactively.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule maintenance activities and small projects, including parts coordination, SOPs, and permits (e.g., confined space, hot work)Facilitate daily team meetings, review progress, and adjust plans as requiredManage work requests, maintenance tags, and asset care reportingWork closely with trades and contractors, providing on-the-floor supervision and troubleshootingCoordinate contractor support for overhauls and one-off projectsLead team engagement by promoting ownership, accountability, and continuous improvementCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align maintenance priorities with broader site goalsMaintain CMMS system data and reporting, and ensure best-practice usage across the teamAbout YouTo thrive in this role, you'll bring:Previous experience in a maintenance planning or coordination role - ideally in a manufacturing environmentStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and empower a diverse trades teamA hands-on mindset and comfort being out on the floorExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, problem-solving attitude and ability to stay calm under pressureA safety-first approach in everything you doProficiency with CMMS (SAP PM beneficial), Microsoft Office, and general computer literacyWhy Asahi Beverages?
