We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Planner/Controller to join our team in Hobart.

Job Description

This role involves planning and coordinating maintenance activities across brewing, packaging, and utilities. The successful candidate will lead from the floor, supporting the team, resolving issues in real time, and ensuring that we stay on track with our maintenance program.

No two days are the same at our site, where unexpected challenges can arise. We require someone who can think on their feet, lead with confidence, and plan proactively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities and small projects, including parts coordination, SOPs, and permits.
  • Facilitate daily team meetings, review progress, and adjust plans as required.
  • Manage work requests, maintenance tags, and asset care reporting.
  • Work closely with trades and contractors, providing on-the-floor supervision and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate contractor support for overhauls and one-off projects.
  • Lead team engagement by promoting ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align maintenance priorities with broader site goals.
  • Maintain CMMS system data and reporting, and ensure best-practice usage across the team.

  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • A safety-first approach in everything you do.
  • Proficiency with CMMS (SAP PM beneficial), Microsoft Office, and general computer literacy.
