Maintenance Planner/Controller Role

At the heart of our operations lies a vital role that ensures our site runs safely and smoothly. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner/Controller to join our team.

This position requires a hands-on individual with strong leadership skills, able to motivate and empower a diverse trades team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in maintenance planning or coordination, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities and small projects, including parts coordination, SOPs, and permits.
  • Facilitating daily team meetings, reviewing progress, and adjusting plans as required.
  • Managing work requests, maintenance tags, and asset care reporting.
  • Working closely with trades and contractors, providing on-the-floor supervision and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinating contractor support for overhauls and one-off projects.
  • Leading team engagement by promoting ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to align maintenance priorities with broader site goals.
  • Maintaining CMMS system data and reporting, ensuring best-practice usage across the team.

  • Proficiency with CMMS (SAP PM beneficial), Microsoft Office, and general computer literacy.
