**About the role**

The Rosters Officer is a key member of the People & Culture Team of GEO Healthcare and will play an integral role in the successful transition and delivery of Primary Healthcare Services to public prisons in Victoria.

Based at GEO Healthcare's Head Office in Carlton, and reporting to the Director, People & Culture and the Senior Human Resources Officer, you will work with the Health Services Managers to ensure that the rostering of staff in all GEO Healthcare locations meets the day-to-day operational needs of the locations and GEO Healthcare's contractual obligations in relation to staff deployment.

**Skills and Experience**:
**Essential**:

- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analytical aptitude and ability.
- Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to problem solve and to resolve queries in a timely manner.
- High level interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with staff in relation to decisions affecting payroll, leave and/or rosters.
- Experience with MS Office software suite, including good grasp of spread-sheet concepts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and perform duties with a minimum of supervision.

**Desirable**:

- Prior experience in (Kronos) Rostering/Time and Attendance and/or Payroll systems.
- Prior experience working with expenses and/or budgets.

**Other Requirements of the role**:

- Valid and current full Australian driver's licence.
- Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
