**Our Purpose
We are on a big journey at Waddle, pushing the boundaries of lending for small businesses. We started our journey seven years ago, building an industry leading product to enable simple, quick and digital access to lending for small businesses.

The product enables the customer to manage their daily cash flow requirements to suit the way they manage their business and works hand and hand with cloud accounting software. Our product was so successful that we now enable other lenders in multiple markets to use the product for their own customers.

We were acquired by Xero back in 2020. They saw a beautiful connection between our purpose "making it easy for small businesses to access lending" and their purpose "helping small businesses to thrive worldwide". When these purposes align, we're not only helping small businesses, we'll be building a stronger economy that can change the world.

We're not a start-up anymore, but spend some time in our office and you wouldn't know it. **How you'll make an impact
As a Partnerships Manager at Waddle, you will develop, manage and execute strategies to form, deliver and grow relationships with Waddle's key partners. You will enable Waddle to realise its strategic goals through complex partnerships with some of the globe's largest lenders. The partnerships will be built on a deep understanding of the needs of our customers and the features, functionality and capabilities of the Waddle platform.

**What you'll do**:

- Develop new and existing partnerships to support Waddle's broader strategy
- Manage Waddle's pipeline of potential new partners including maintaining the CRM and other relevant systems of record
- Develop new and existing partnerships to support Waddle's vision to redefine working capital
- Provide regular performance reporting on partner relationships and progress against contractual service levels and Waddle OKRs
- Manage a number of complex SaaS partnerships in conjunction with Waddle product and support. Ensuring that Waddle continues to be compliant with their large contracts
- Represent Waddle at industry and partner events to provide thought leadership on digital lending & SaaS Platforms
- Support proposition development in collaboration with the Waddle Product, Engineering and Leadership as required

**What you'll bring with you**:

- Experience in partner development and account management
- A track record in building relationships and negotiating with various stakeholders across complex organisations (including at executive/EGM level)
- Experience with or understanding of lending, cloud technology and FinTech platforms would be an advantage
- P&L management and delivery of partner related targets
- Strong understanding of contracts and negotiations
- Ability to drive complex sales to completion
