This role is an Australia-based, fully work-from-home position, with access to co-working spaces in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The Partnerships Manager is responsible for expanding Montu's prescriber base by developing strategic partnerships with healthcare associations, advocacy groups, and professional networks. The role focuses on engaging organisations that influence doctors and allied health professionals, delivering unique partnership solutions that drive education, prescribing, and referral opportunities.
Each partnership represents a unique opportunity and requires a creative, collaborative approach, from developing tailored education initiatives to designing integrated referral pathways that resonate with the partner's specific community of HCPs and prescribers. The Partnerships Manager is a relationship-builder and strategic thinker who can navigate complex stakeholder environments, spot opportunities, and execute innovative solutions that deliver commercial impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial and Marketing Partner identification, engagement and execution
- Implement, manage, and evolve the established partnership strategy to support Montu's HCP acquisition strategy.
- Use data and partner insights to identify high-impact opportunities, inform targeting, and optimise partnership performance over time.
- Identify, nurture and strengthen relationships with high value partners and brands to recruit them.
- Act as the primary point of contact for partners, with end-to-end responsibility for relationship management, activation, and performance outcomes.
- Drive prescriber engagement and growth by delivering tailored partnership initiatives that support education, referrals, and prescribing confidence.
- Optimise partnerships once in place by taking a test & learn approach, and analysing the success and profitability of partnerships
- Deliver measurable outcomes that support Montu's strategic goals, including increased prescriber adoption and deepen industry confidence the therapeutic benefits of Medicinal Cannabis as a treatment option
- Relationship Management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure partnership execution success, while tracking performance and communicating impact across the business.
- Work with cross-functional teams to manage partnership budgets and track ROI, ensuring attribution frameworks are in place to connect prescriber engagement to partner activity and quantify business impact.
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment in product offerings, messaging, and promotional activities.
- Build meaningful, long-term relationships with external partners and internal team members to drive shared goals and sustained engagement.
- Structure partnerships to support prescriber growth and deliver commercial outcomes, using data and modelling to guide terms and measure value.

- Compliance & Regulatory:
- Ensure that all activities comply with the pharmaceutical industry regulations, including TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) and other local laws related to distribution and marketing.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of relevant legislation and industry standards.
Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Deliver on individual and set departmental OKR and KPI's as determined from time to time.
**Qualifications**
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience developing strategic partnerships within the Australian healthcare or health-adjacent sectors, with a focus on driving influence and behavioural change among clinicians or prescribers.
- Knowledge of the Australian healthcare ecosystem, ideally including knowledge of professional associations, regulatory frameworks, and the prescribing landscape, though not limited to these areas.
