Snowy Mountains Christian School (SMCS) is a coeducational K-10 school. It is located in Cooma which has a rich history of engineering and culture due to the Snowy-Mountains Hydro-Electric Scheme and is just over one hour from the NSW Ski Fields, the Sapphire Coast and Canberra.
SMCS is a ministry of Cooma Baptist Church providing an excellent Christ-focused education to the Snowy-Monaro Region for over 25 years.
**The Role**
We are currently seeking an Office Administrator (Part-Time or Full-Time) to start Term 1, 2025 or as soon as possible.
Applicants must be a Christian who is an active member of a Bible-believing Church and should be someone with:
- A heart for Mission
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Effective organisational and management skills and competent use of ICT
- Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
The role includes:
- Undertaking reception and general office duties
- Providing administrative support to school executive, including arranging appointments, diaries and preparing both confidential and general correspondence
- Assisting with the preparation of internal and external publications including school websites, newsletters and other media
- Assisting with the coordination of school functions and events
- Ability to work independently, and exercise initiative in handling enquiries and tasks in a responsible manner without supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment
