We are looking for anexperienced Compliance Managerto join our friendly team.As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuringcompliant and high-quality education and care across the growing network of centres.
This role includes all aspects of childcare operations, including implementing policy into practice, quality audits and ensuring the service operates according to current laws & regulations.
You must be a team player with previous experience in a similar role and be able to provide support, coaching and mentoring to the service team on a daily basis.About the Role:Conducting regular compliancevisits and spot checks across all services.Monitor and manage risk, regulatorycompliance and quality across servicesLead Internal Audits, compliance reviews and quality improvement planningIdentify risks and develop practicalstrategies to ensure safe, high quality environmentsSupporting & Guiding our educators to address all areas of complianceincludingchild safety & wellbeing, WHS, Food Safety, & Emergency Management.Oversee and assess Educational Program to ensure regulatoryand developmental alignmentTraining and mentoring to upskill educators and improve outcomes.Assist in preparing a service for Assessment and RatingSkills, Experience & QualificationsCommitted to self-assurance and Continuous Quality ImprovementQualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care are essential (Diploma minimum, ECT qualified is ideal).
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (ideal not essential)Detailed workingknowledge and application of childcare legislation, regulations and compliance requirements.Understanding of the Early Years Learning & Development Framework.Compliance experience and previous Assessment & Rating experience in Childcare.Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with people at all levels.Strong organisational skills including the ability to time manage, multi-task, prioritise, produce work of high quality and consistently meet deadlines.Ability to educate team on compliance and practiceStrong Reporting SkillsExperience in mentoring & coaching teams to improve practices & & complianceStrong Coaching & Mentoring Skills to implement and embed policy & Practice.Knowledge of ISS SupportRequirementsAwareness of changes in Regulations and Developing a plan to implement changes across a networkValid Working with Children's Check.Current First Aid/CPR/Asthma/Anaphylaxis certificateRelevant Qualification in Early EducationHere at Heritage House we believe child safety is paramount, as a child safe organisation all candidates must have or obtain a working with children check.We are looking for a candidate who ispassionate about children and willing to join our dynamic and engaging team.If you are ready for a new challenge in a long running (30+ years) professional family owned and operated business with a positive and flexible management approach, please apply today.This is apart-time positionUnlock job insightsSalary match Number of applicants Skills matchYour application will include the following questions:Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?
