Part time 22.8 hours per week position covering a parental leave contract in Green Hills Retirement Community in East MaitlandYour contribution counts – focused initiatives to reward and recognise our teamsSalary packaging – increased take home pay through salary packaging including novated leasing optionsBirthday leave – take time to celebrate with your friends and familyAbout the RoleMaintain Grounds: You will ensure that our external grounds are well-maintained, clean, and presentable.
You'll work closely with our maintenance team to keep everything in top shape.Gardening and Lawn Care: You will take care of our gardens and lawns, performing tasks such as fertilizing, weed management, pruning, and replanting.
You'll safely use and mantain the equipment to make this possible.
Your green thumb will help our plants thrive.Resident Experience: You will make sure that our outdoor areas are safe and enjoyable for our residents and their families.Team Player: You'll assistance the maintenance staff as required which may include relief maintenance udring periods of leaveWhat You BringWe are seeking candidates who have a passion for horticulture and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
Here are some key points we're looking for:Experience in lawns and gardens maintenance including operating and maintaining role related equipment (e.g.-ride on mowers, whipper snipper etc),A valid drivers license, own vehicle and the ability to meet the role's physical requirements,Comfortable using IT programs or Microsoft Office Suits (Word, Excel and Outlook)National Police check suitable for Aged Care or willingness to get one,About UsFresh Hope Communities exists to create spaces that cultivate belonging and places that feel like home.For almost 90 years, we have been providing quality support and lifestyle choices across retirement, residential and respite settings, as well as conference and outdoor adventure experiences for school and community groups.
