The Maintenance Handyman will be responsible for maintaining the building, plant and equipment, and fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel to a high standard.
- Undertaking general repairs, patching & painting, plumbing, carpentry, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
- Performing varied and wide-range repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision.
- General Gardening and Groundskeeping.
- Assisting other team members in the completion of their duties.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in a similar role or the ability to demonstrate required skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- A proven record of reliability, punctuality, and presentation.
- Organisational and time management skills.
- A solid understanding of Safe Work Practices and WH&S.
