• Part time 22.8 hours per week position covering a parental leave contract in Green Hills Retirement Community in East Maitland

About the Role

• Maintain Grounds: You will ensure that our external grounds are well-maintained, clean, and presentable. You'll work closely with our maintenance team to keep everything in top shape.
• Gardening and Lawn Care: You will take care of our gardens and lawns, performing tasks such as fertilizing, weed management, pruning, and replanting. You'll safely use and mantain the equipment to make this possible. Your green thumb will help our plants thrive.
• Resident Experience: You will make sure that our outdoor areas are safe and enjoyable for our residents and their families.
• Team Player: You'll assistance the maintenance staff as required which may include relief maintenance udring periods of leave
  
  

What You Bring

We are seeking candidates who have a passion for horticulture and a commitment to maintaining high standards. Here are some key points we're looking for:

• Experience in lawns and gardens maintenance including operating and maintaining role related equipment (e.g.-ride on mowers, whipper snipper etc),
• A valid drivers license, own vehicle and the ability to meet the role's physical requirements,
• Comfortable using IT programs or Microsoft Office Suits (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• National Police check suitable for Aged Care or willingness to get one,
