A maintenance role at a 5-star hotel located in the Honeysuckle precinct on Newcastle Harbour. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the building, plant and equipment, and fixtures and fittings throughout the hotel to a high standard.

Job Summary

Maintain the overall condition of the hotel's facilities to ensure guest satisfaction and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the building, plant & equipment and fixtures and fittings throughout the Hotel to a high standard.
  • Undertake general repairs, patching & painting, plumbing, carpentry and preventative maintenance throughout the Hotel.
  • Servicing of plant and general equipment as directed.
  • Perform varied and wide range of repair and maintenance tasks throughout the hotel with minimal supervision and with diligence.
  • General gardening and groundskeeping.
  • Assist other team members in the completion of their duties.
About You
  • Prior experience in a similar role or the ability to demonstrate skills required to be successful in this role.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Proven record of reliability, punctuality and presentation.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with Safe Work Practices and WHS.
