We're looking for an **Indigenous Business Development Assistant **to join our **Sydney Management & Administration team **. This role has the flexibility for you to be based out of either our **Sydney or Newcastle office **.

**Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in**:

- Co-developing and implementing GHD's Indigenous Business Relationships Framework in collaboration with key GHD stakeholders
- Assist GHD project teams and seek opportunities for improvement and engagement
- Provide vendor pre-qualification and onboarding support
- Track and report on KPI's related to Indigenous Procurement as needed by various parts of the business
- Support key external stakeholder relationships e.g. Supply Nation, Indigenous Chambers of Commerce

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Ability to engage with and include GHD's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous employees
- Strong connection to community
- Ability to work with internal stakeholders with responsibility for vendor pre-qualifications, vendor accounts and finance, and staff developing project participation
- Effective oral and written communication and facilitation skills
- High attention to detail in spreadsheets and tables
- Collaborate with other staff and open to sharing of information
- Ability to work independently when required
