Indigenous Filler Operator

As a manufacturer and distributor of compressed gases and cryogenic liquids to almost all industries across Australia, ranging from heavy industry and manufacturing, to healthcare and specialty users such as laboratories our client is raising the bar in terms of service, quality and value in the Gas industry and is currently seeking Fillers/Operators to join their growing team.

**Describe the client**:

**Position Description**:

- Accurately identify cylinder and product types, labels and codes.
- Sort cylinders, inspect for faults, paint/label condition, appearance and test dates.
- Conduct regular checks and maintenance of cylinder bar-coding.
- De-valve / re-valve cylinders as required, including thread and cylinder internal inspection.
- Scan 100% of cylinders, packs and pallets using hand held scanners.
- Complete all paperwork and administrative tasks required for all key cylinder processing and handling procedures
- Fill cylinders with products in accordance with product folders to meet daily orders.
- Operate test station and test cylinders as required.
- Inspect cylinders and change traffic, as required.
- Complete all paperwork and administrative tasks required for all key cylinder filling procedures
- Batch, palletise and load orders and consignments for delivery according to standard operating and safety procedures.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, etc.) in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures.
- Load pallets and trucks to ensure daily orders are fulfilled in full and on time.
- Where applicable deliver cylinders to branches, depots and customer sites in accordance with standard operating and safety procedures
- Identify vehicle maintenance requirements.
- Complete pre-trip checks and vehicle condition reports.
- Complete all paperwork and administrative tasks required for all cylinder delivery procedures including truck trip reconciliations.
