Mortuary / Operations SupervisorSimplicity Funerals Laurieton and Hastings District Funeral and Cremation Services is a part of InvoCare, a funeral industry leader.
We currently operate over 300 funeral locations, 17 cemeteries and 29 crematoria, throughout Australia, New Zealand and Singapore and we are growing.
As we plan for the next phase of transformation and growth, now is an exciting time to join the InvoCare team.We're seeking a hands-on and organised leader to oversee daily operations and mortuary services.
This role ensures smooth coordination of funeral activities, high service standards, and effective team supervision.As a member of the Operations team, the Operations Supervisor also supports the Location Manager in supervising transfer services, funeral services, mortuary and cremation services.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate daily operational activities and ensure adequate staffingSupport funeral teams and respond to client needs and service requestsOversee documentation, scheduling, and administrative processesSupervise cremation facilities and manage related financial transactionsMaintain equipment, vehicles, and suppliesParticipate in funeral services, transfers, viewings, and cremationsLiaise with mortuary staff to ensure timely and respectful handling of deceasedRecruit, train, and develop staff to deliver high-quality serviceIf you\'re a strong communicator with leadership experience and a commitment to excellence, we'd love to hear from you.Benefits of joining InvoCare:You may not have considered this industry before, but we provide vital services to families to assist them to celebrate the lives of their loved ones in a way that they would have wanted.
