**About Us**
The Co-Group is a growing charitable, not-for-profit (NFP) organisation which offers opportunities for support workers to provide care for clients that include in-home supports, group homes, and day centres in the disability and aged care industry. The Co-Group employs a multicultural and diverse workforce including visa holders.
Our client is an ethical and fast-growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services in South Western Melbourne. We are seeking Support Workers to assist with the provision of high-quality exceptional care to a range of fantastic clients and participants currently engaged.
Our Support Workers are home-based and utilise a mobile work model (with electronic support for administration), attracting a travel reimbursement and ongoing training opportunities, appropriate to client need. There is scope for our support staff to work specifically with NDIS participants, Aged Care clients or a mix of both.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assistance with care in the home (bathing, toileting, mobility)
- Getting out for social engagement, activities and attending appointments (own vehicle essential)
- Assistance with household tasks (may include cleaning, meal preparation)
- Assistance with medications
- Light administrative duties (record maintenance, reporting)
**Your Skills and Experience**
To be successful in the role, you will require the following:
- A genuine passion to work alongside participants/the elderly and to make a positive and lasting difference in their lives
- Professional or lived experience of the NDIS and/or Aged Care sectors
- Experience of complex behaviours and behaviour support methods (a bonus - not a requirement)
- Excellent communication skills, commitment to a person-centred focus and flexibility to support needs based on individual circumstances
- A sense of humour (another bonus - not a requirement)
- Resilience and compassion
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Qualification in Disability, Aged Care or related field preferred
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Current National Police check
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence & access to a reliable vehicle
- The right to work in Australia
- Full Covid-19 vaccination

**Salary**: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
