Yay Today is a registered NDIS provider based in South-East of Melbourne, dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health conditions and neurodivergent traits. Our mission is to empower people to move from feeling stuck to feeling inspired, helping them unlock their full potential.

We work closely with individuals living with disabilities, building meaningful partnerships through tailored support activities that focus on each person's unique goals and strengths.

We're currently seeking a compassionate and committed Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis. In this rewarding role, you'll deliver personalised care and practical assistance to help our clients achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide personal care, domestic assistance, and community access support
- Assist with daily living activities and implementation of client care plans
- Build strong, respectful relationships with clients and their families
- Promote independence and support clients in achieving their personal goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Work collaboratively with other professionals involved in the client's care

**Must Have or Willing to Obtain**
- Previous experience in disability support or a similar role
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Public holidays
- Rotating roster
- Weekend availability

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
