**The Role**:
The purpose of the Office Manager is to manage the efficient running of the Melbourne office supporting approximately 90 Employees. This role will also assist with the administrative activities and functions of projects within the Buildings group.

**Working as part of a highly collaborative team, your main responsibilities will include**:

- Front Desk Reception Duties,
- General Office Administration,
- Project Administrator duties for the Buildings group,
- Administration of some required HR tasks including assisting the coordination of performance reviews for the Melbourne office and other related tasks,
- Conducting inductions for new staff,
- Assisting with new starters onboarding process,
- Liaising with other BG&E corporate support team members nationally,
- Assist with BG&E Emergency Response Processes. Including sign-in and out of visitors and staff; and assisting in purchase, recording and maintenance for emergency response or facility equipment where applicable,
- Maintain requirements for PPE, electrical equipment, first aid, stationary and other consumables for the office,
- Liaise with Property Management to ensure facilities are maintained and serviced in good working condition,
- Make office related purchases without director approval up to a value of $X,
- Event planning, coordination and catering for recurring meetings and larger events,
- VIR approvals,
- Leave management for Melbourne staff in ESS,
- Booking and arranging training as requested by employees and maintaining a record of staff training,
- Assisting the VIC Director with calendar management and other Ad hoc duties.

**About You**:

- 3+ years Office Management or High level Administration experience,
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including intermediate MS Word and Excel skills,
- Exceptionally High Attention to Detail,
- Well-developed interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a preference within the office for face-to-face support where possible,
- Strong time management and prioritizing skills to work to set deadlines,
- Ability to work independently and prioritise a busy workload,
- Ability to learn new software and systems,
- Previous experience with the software BST would be beneficial, but not essential,
- A relevant tertiary qualification (or working towards) is preferred not essential.
