**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing high level operational and professional support, including coordination of all activities within the Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor Finance & Chief Operating Officer and the Pro Vice Chancellor Communications and Engagement.
This role works closely with two senior leaders, and is accountable for identifying solutions, utilising strong business acumen and expertise to drive a full range of effective and high level administrative support services associated with the Office.
**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Supportive of the Objects of The University of Notre Dame Australia as a Catholic University
- A Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent work experience
- Extensive administrative experience and expertise supporting an executive function in a complex organisation
- Proven track record overseeing the flow of information and work in a busy office environment, preferably at a senior level in a university, or other relevant context
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience of academic processes within higher education
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to build relationships, engage and foster collaboration
- Demonstrated high level of computer literacy and competency, and ability to use a range of software, including Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel to collate data for a variety of purposes including financial tracking
- Highly developed time management skills with an ability to manage concurrent detailed matters from beginning to end
- Proven record of preparing high quality documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
