We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced, execution focused Operational Change Manager to lead a team of Change Advisors responsible for the planning and delivery of change initiatives that impact our customers and frontline teams, as well as back-office team across both Energy and Telcommunications.

In collaboration with the Change Communications and Experience Design team you are the link between the business and our people, facilitating sustainable change and providing them the 'why', 'what' and 'how' that they need to create positive outcomes for our customers and our people.

What you'll be doing:

- Advise senior project Change Managers on how to identify operational impacts
- Educate senior stakeholders and Change Managers on frameworks set up to support delivery of their projects / initiatives
- Maintain proactive relationships with all key stakeholders across Customer Markets to understand and plan the change pipeline - Sales, Product, Marketing, Emerging Business, Customer Operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic and operational plans to ensure Customer Solutions strategic objectives align and are able to support the delivery of these plans.
- Implement and facilitate cross functional change forums across Sales and Marketing, Credit and Affordability and Billing and Connections to ensure a planned approach to implementation of initiative to optimise operational efficiencies, stake engagement and customer experience.
- Work with Customer Solutions and Customer Market Operations to contribute to implementation of strategic vision and business plans, supporting the delivery of key targets across Customer Markets.
- Mentor, coach and develop the team on a daily basis to build the team's capability and enable them to facilitate sustainable change implementation.
- Collaborate with relevant leadership teams and take sole or joint responsibility (as determined) for the planning and delivery of key initiatives in line with initiative outcomes, timelines and budget

About You

- Organisational and self-management skills including the ability to quickly adjust, and to accommodate emerging priorities.
- Ability to understand key business drivers for performance and use of sound business practices
- Ability to build strong internal relationships built on credible performance, collaboration, and personal leadership
- Effective project management skills, with ability to coordinate delivery across concurrent projects, managing and balancing the needs of each to realise full benefits for the business
- Strong people management skills with the ability to develop, coach and mentor employees to get the best out of them
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Able to maintain composure when faced with difficult or challenging situations
- Continuous process improvement and growth mindset
- The ability to notice, interpret and anticipate others concerns and feelings and to communicate this awareness empathetically to others. It is the ability to adjust your approach accordingly to deliver business outcomes in a people focused way
- Qualifications &/or experience in a change methodology (PCI, PROSCI, etc)
