Reporting to the Property Director this role will be responsible for a wide variety of projects, with a retail and commercial focus. You will be providing leadership across these projects, and be involved as part of the Development team on new project conception. A key differentiator for this organisation is their focus on design, and having the construction team in-house means that you have access to critical construction information as part of the team, rather than managing a difficult external contractor. It gives you an advantage over your competitors by having access to the construction team from the commencement of the process.

Your projects are in various stages, which means your skills will remain current for each stage of the development life-cycle, and the flat structure of the development team means that not only will you have exposure to other projects, new opportunities, and better design solutions, but you will also get significant access to the owner of the business.

You will enjoy the autonomy afforded to you, but support, mentoring and training is available if you need it on any aspect of the development process.

You will work with the Property Director to set the strategic direction for your projects, and you will continue to foster a culture that promotes the organisation's values. You will be a proven and collaborative development manager and be able to demonstrate a commitment to great project outcomes.
