The leading infrastructure recruitment specialist are looking for a TBM Mechanical Supervisor, to join a global leader in Infrastructure sector for one of Australia's technical infrastructure projects involving subways, hydraulic tunnels, hydroelectric power plants/stations, and pumping facilities.

**Job Role / Responsibilities**
- Managing the daily mechanical running, operation and maintenance of the TBM and associated mechanical equipment
- Organising and planning work for future mechanical operations. Managing plan maintenance for all mechanical equipment on site
- Developing specifications for production and determining materials, equipment, material flows and layout of plant and systems
- Liaising with Mechanical Manager for all TBM, conveyor, gantry crane and associated equipment assembly/ installation/dismantling, commissioning and testing works
- Carry out daily plant inspections, complete and submit maintenance/ breakdown reports
- Liaising with TBM Electrical team for planning of ongoing and future works
- Supervise and provide support to Mechanics on shift, for trouble shooting and preventative maintenance
- Ensuring Method Statements and Risk assessments are in place for ongoing and future mechanical works
- Inspecting and auditing the plant to ensure optimum performance is maintained in accordance with Australian Standards
- Responsible for accurate and effective shift handovers as required; Rotation schedule 14 days on, 7 days off or 14x7.

**Project**

The infrastructure project is based in Cooma, Australia and consists of the construction of several tunnels, hydroelectric plants and pumping facilities, the construction has just started and is estimated to last for at least 4 years.

**Requirements**:

- Trade or Qualification in Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering
- White Card
- Driving License
- Extensive experience in civil or tunnelling construction, typically 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role
- Experience in basic use of Microsoft Office Suite, data and file recording.
- Minimum 5 years' experience working on TBM projects
- Experience on major infrastructure construction operations of similar scale with a proven ability to operate in a dynamic "live" environment and to meet significant program hurdles.
- Experience in Safety, Community and Environmental Management
- Experience in Quality Management
- Experience in Planning & Resourcing
