We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Reliability Manager to work at one of our local refineries (Wagerup, Pinjarra or Kwinana). Reporting to the Refinery Manager you will be responsible for developing and directing programs to improve equipment reliability, availability and cost effectiveness whilst maintaining the long-term integrity of the equipment asset. The role works closely in collaboration with your team, direct site peers and the wider business including Capital Projects and our Centre of Excellence for Asset Management.

Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for all the reliability engineering, maintenance planning and equipment / asset programs, and the associated measurement systems for the facility.- Tasked with developing, monitoring, reporting, directing and improving all aspects of these responsibilities.- Plays an active role in the development of location business strategy, operating plans and budgetary processes.- Responsible for asset integrity assessment, change control and remediation processes for the location.

About you

To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
- Engineering or relevant tertiary qualifications- Experience in large scale production environments - alumina experience preferred.- Identify & manage the asset maintenance/reliability to ensure continued plant & business operations.- Managed all aspects of safe equipment management - asset strategies, sparing, planning & execution.- Knowledge of asset management principals- Drives initiatives to reduce losses from equipment downtime and reduce maintenance costs.- Equipment related compliance and compliance against regulatory and legislative requirements.- Chemical processing environment background - sound understanding of the effect on equipment.- Created and implemented maintenance strategies.- Passion for excellence and continuous improvement.- Demonstrates best practice in regard to EHS to maintain a safe work environment.
