The Role

As the IT Strategy & Planning Manager, you will be accountable for IT Planning as part of the 'Engage & Strategise' within the Aurecon IT Operating Model.

You will work with teams across Aurecon IT and Business groups to develop a future focused IT Strategy and define a set of integrated IT initiatives that ensure we achieve our vision and a sustainable future for our business over a 1-3 year horizon with a key focus on priorities and options within the current financial year.

Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life'.
- Understand Aurecon business and technology strategies, plans, priorities, change imperatives and commercial drivers
- Develop the IT Roadmap and Investment pipeline in alignment with these imperatives, with consideration to current and future business demand
- Work with Portfolio Management to assess resource / investment requirements to execute the Roadmaps
- Work with Engagement, Portfolio and Service Management functions to understand new demand, prioritise the pipeline and maintain alignment with the IT Strategy
- Identify value creation opportunities by combining business insights with emerging technologies
- Establish an approach, with the PMO and Project Capability teams, to capture step change and continuous improvement opportunities (e.g. captured from lessons learned / Post Implementation Reviews, business feedback etc.)
- Take a leadership role influencing and managing the strategic and operational change journey in close collaboration with the Enterprise Change function.
