Job details
As the Lead Integration Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative, scalable, and robust integration systems and solutions to address complex business challenges across the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission (NQSC). You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including enterprise, solution and domain architects, software developers, engineers, project managers, and other related business stakeholders, to create end-to-end integration systems and solutions that align with the organisation's goals and technical requirements
Key duties and responsibilities
- Working closely with the Project Management & Delivery, Enterprise Architecture & Strategy, Infrastructure & Integration and other related DART Program teams, assist with the development of the overall Enterprise Integration Strategy and the required integration target states for NQSC and develop the related integration roadmaps with agreed deliverable milestones and deadlines.
- Develop the end-to-end integration architectures, frameworks, standards and patterns that align the integration architectures and integration solutions to meet the DART Program objectives, scope, and requirements. This will involve defining both the high-level and detailed-level service specifications and detailed service designs for integration across NQSC and the DART Program.
- Develop the integration architectures and collaborate with the relevant SMEs stakeholders, the architects, applying the relevant standards, patterns, practices and policies, and facilitate the sign-off of the integration architectures through our governance forums in place, such as the Design Authority (DA).
- Work across the entire project lifecycle to ensure the agreed integration architectures are understood across the DART Program and implementation teams, manage any deviations, and contribute to the overall technical success of program and related projects.
- Support project managers, technical leads, business analysts and change managers to ensure the implications of the integration architectures are understood in terms of project budgets, schedule, requirements alignment and business impact.
- Provide technical advice and guidance, and act as lead technical representative to the DART Program and related projects, for the integration architectures, and its adoption within NQSC to assist in the delivery of enterprise-wide integration solutions and also ensuring that fit-for-purpose options and recommendations are presented at the relevant DA forums.
- Work with and provide advice to the project implementation teams (and vendors/partners and SIs) to ensure the integration architectures implemented as defined.
Technical skills
- Certifications in TOGAF or similar certifications preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Kafka, AWS and/or Azure Integration Services.
