**_The Role_**
- Genus Industrial are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (Civil) for a full-time 18 month contract to support the Kwinana Battery Storage Phase 2 Project._
- Reporting to the Construction Manager and Project Control Manager the _
**_Quantity Surveyor's _**:

- responsibilities will include:_
- Performing Desktop Assessment of client issued engineering design and drawings
- Performing quantity take-off to assess variations to budget
- Working along side the construction team to help analysis and verify worked man hours on site
- Working along side Project Controls to update relevant data in the QMR document i.e. progressed quantities, man-hours, variation quantities, man-hours, etc.

**_Essential Skills / Qualifications/Experience_**
- Qualifications in a Civil Quantity Surveying, financial or commercial discipline would be highly regarded.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Australian and legal and regulatory environment
- Commercially focused with great interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple streams of work/competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Current Drivers Licence
- Construction White card

**_Motivated to meet pre-mobilisation requirements in a timely manner (Inductions, On
- Boarding documents etc.)_**

**_Successfully pass a Pre-Employment Medical + Return a Negative Drug Screen._**
