Quantity Surveyor

This role will involve managing all aspects of cost planning, procurement, and contract administration for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic (MEP) components of commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and mixed-use projects across WA.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and project managers, to ensure accurate cost management and value delivery across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates and cost plans for MEP packages throughout the design and construction phases Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements using tools such as Cost X or similar Assist in the preparation and review of bills of quantities (Bo Qs) and tender documentation for MEP systems Evaluate MEP subcontractor bids, including technical and commercial assessments Conduct post-contract cost control, including reviewing variations, progress claims, and final accounts Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve commercial issues Provide value engineering input and life cycle costing analysis Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and financial parameters About You: Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline3+ years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on MEP services (mid to senior level considered)Proficient in MEP measurement principles, tendering procedures, and Australian standards Strong knowledge of contract administration, particularly AS forms of contract Skilled in Cost X, Excel, and other quantity surveying software Exceptional attention to detail and commercial acumen MRICS, AIQS or working towards professional accreditation (highly regarded)Why Join?Join a highly regarded consultancy delivering diverse and high-value projects Flexible work environment with a focus on career progression and technical development Competitive remuneration package aligned to experience Apply now to be part of a team that values precision, collaboration, and technical excellence in MEP cost management.
