We're seeking a Graduate HR Generalist to support our APAC region.

HR's role is to support colleagues' personal development and maintain high standards across teams and leadership.Location: This role is remote, based in the APAC region.Key responsibilities include:Providing HR support by responding to team members' questions regarding employment, contracts, onboarding, benefits, and other inquiries, escalating as needed.Maintaining our HRIS with high accuracy and timeliness.Leading global projects related to engagement, training, or culture initiatives.Partnering with managers and employees to support HR processes and implement people strategies.Supporting global onboarding, including documentation and system setup.Assisting with benefits enrollment, payroll coordination, and ensuring timely and accurate data processing.Liaising with payroll to ensure smooth salary payments.Creating purchase orders for internal departments.Conducting audits of employment files and systems to ensure compliance and accuracy.Continuously seeking process improvements to enhance HR functions.Ideal candidate profile:Proven high achievement during education.Internship experience in HR or related fields, preferably in tech.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work under pressure.Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a focus on accuracy.High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.Adaptable and proactive in suggesting improvements.Ambitious to develop a career in HR.Willing to travel up to four times per year for internal events.What we offer:Competitive global compensation, reviewed annually and based on performance and location.Performance-based annual bonus.Additional benefits reflecting our values, tailored to local needs.Distributed work environment with biannual in-person team sprints.USD 2,000 annual learning and development budget.Recognition rewards, holiday leave, maternity and paternity leave, Employee Assistance Programme.Opportunities to travel and meet colleagues in new locations.About Canonical:Canonical is a pioneering tech firm leading the open source movement.
