Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an experienced HR generalist to join our People and Culture team. Our team is a high-performing and collaborative group that delivers exceptional service for our employees through the delivery of contemporary and best-practice people services.

About the Role:

This is a true human resources generalist role which focuses on managing all aspects of employee relations including recruitment, performance management, employee issues, onboarding and probation, employee departures, health and wellbeing, graduate and vacation clerk placements.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing HR advisory support for allocated teams to manage key HR processes including recruitment, performance management, employee issues, onboarding and probation, employee departures, health and wellbeing, graduate and vacation clerk placements.
  • Providing support to the P&C Director, Partners and other Leaders to manage complex employee relations issues.
  • Supporting and leading key HR projects.
  • Conducting reviews of HR policies and guidelines.
  • Providing HR advice and support for Partners and employees, including policy guidance and interpretation, and managing employee issues.
  • Responding to and managing health and safety issues and incidents.
  • Maintaining employee files and documentation in accordance with legislative and confidentiality requirements.
  • Managing employee changes and requests through HRIS.
  • Providing payroll advisory support and managing updates to payroll processes through the HRIS and payroll platforms.
  • Assisting in monitoring and ensuring legislative compliance in relation to workplace practices.
  • Maintaining and enhancing professional knowledge and technical skills by keeping up to date with new developments and relevant trends.
