Job Description

The role of an HR Officer is to provide generalist HR advice and support to leaders and employees. This includes assisting with performance and conduct matters, documentation, and case management.

Duties include drafting employment contracts, variations, and other employment-related letters. The HR Officer will also coordinate onboarding activities, including check-ins at key intervals.

This position involves supporting WHS incident response, employee wellbeing, and benefits administration. Additionally, the HR Officer will respond to day-to-day HR inbox queries and coordinate actions as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide generalist HR advice and first-level support to leaders and employees
  • Assist with performance and conduct matters, documentation, and case management

Required Skills and Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field are essential for this role. At least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role is also required.

The successful candidate will possess sound knowledge of employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and NES. Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail are necessary for this position.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also required, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships across diverse teams.
