About The OpportunityHitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) () is a global brand providing a variety of machinery for the construction and mining industries.HCA is currently seeking a Trades Assistant to assist Fitters in the day-to-day running of the Muswellbrook Reman Facility.Reporting to the Reman Centre Supervisor you will be responsible for:Assist in store control involving receiving and dispatch of Reman itemsCleaning and repairing of Reman components as per proceduresDisassembling components in line with procedures when requiredMaintain a high level of accuracy when carrying out final QA inspections and packaging units ready for dispatchForklift operatingMaintain a clean and tidy working environmentTo be successful in this role:You must have a safety focus and abide by site safety processesYou must be mechanically minded with a willingness to learnHave an understanding of Mining, Earthmoving and/or Construction equipmentHave the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faultsGood communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a teamAbility to work flexible hours and overtime when requiredForklift License and Spray-painting experience will be advantageousHCA offers:Rewarding pay rate + potential overtime + company biannual bonuses
