We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team in the day-to-day running of a busy Reman facility.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will assist Fitters in various tasks, including store control, component cleaning and repair, disassembling, quality inspections, and packaging units ready for dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive and dispatch Reman items efficiently
  • Clean and repair Reman components as per established procedures
  • Disassemble components in line with procedures when required
  • Maintain high accuracy during final QA inspections and prepare units for dispatch
  • Operate a forklift safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A strong safety focus and adherence to site safety protocols
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
  • Understanding of Mining, Earthmoving, and Construction equipment
  • Able to recognize basic product quality deviations/faults
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and overtime when required

Prior experience with Forklift License and Spray-painting is advantageous.
